tap water

…the website but other than
distillation and re-oxygenation using ozone, I’m wondering if they also use reverse osmosis. The water tastes a great deal better than tap water or water that is filtered through say a refrigerator filtration system. I’m familiar with the removal of minerals but we get plenty from natural food sources and can take a supplement if concerned.

My husband is a chemist with related experience so I know something about the chemistry behind water purification and the contaminants in water today, including human waste pharmaceuticals that survive sewage treatment plants etc. I’m also very familiar with chlorination vs ozone treatments. In general, bottled water is a fraud. So I’d appreciate it if anyone knowledgeable could stick to the question itself. What is the total process used by Le Bleu? They note they are "one of the purest bottled waters on the market today." "one of"…what other brands are their competitors.

The veins are turning brown on my aquatic Amazonian sword plant’s leaves, making them crinkle. However, the leaves are a lovely shade of green and seem more or less healthy. Is there not enough light? Because I only have a normal output fluorescent bulb.

I use root tabs for iron supplement and fertilizer. The roots are healthy, and the leaves seem to have plenty of chlorophyll. The CO2 is sufficient. My tank isn’t overcrowded (3 swordtail fish and 2 angel fish) nor is anything else unhealthy. No snails.

My tap water has medium-high pH, a good buffer (high alkalinity–not related to pH), and high hardness. I mix this 50/50 with reverse-osmosis water, which has any dissolved materials filtered out.

The reason why I’m asking is because it says reverse osmosis. I want to know if they filter the fluoride or if its pretty much the same as drinking tap water.
